About Us

Ada Hudson, the owner of Bloom & Grow, has spent the past 25 years in the Birmingham business community and understands the unique needs that each of her clients has when it comes to choosing floral services.  Ada trained under Jon Martinez former owner of the floral businesses “Bloom” and “Merci Bloom” which operated in the Birmingham area for many years.  Jon remains with her as a creative and business consultant to ensure Jon’s legacy of unique floral designs continues.

Jon Martinez, former owner of Bloom, is a creative consultant at Bloom & Grow.  Jon offered his line of business to Ada Hudson during the fall of 2015. Ada, who had previously trained under Jon, gratefully accepted and named the business, appropriately, Bloom & Grow.

Sarah McNeill has more than 20 years of experience in landscape design, maintenance and installation along with a degree in horticulture. She specializes in perennial gardens and other specialty items. Sarah creates attractive pots, Euro baskets, hanging baskets, small succulent dish gardens, and zen gardens for offices and homes. Her gardens have twice been featured in Southern Living Magazine.
